To test the quality of waterproof fabrics we offer sturdy constructed Crumpleflex Tester. This tester helps in testing the water resistance of the fabric by twisting it through stretching and compressing it at the same time. It is outfitted with an automatic stop button at predetermined number of cycles for easily usage. The instrument is generally bused for testing coated fabrics to determine its degradation of water impedance. If the fabric is of low quality it will no longer be water proof after this test. Our Crumpleflex Tester is ergonomically constructed with latest technology with an acrylic safety for ensuring safety in its operations.
Gelbo Flex Tester, to determine the degradation to water resistance of coated fabrics due to crumpling and flexing in use. The equipment tests a tube of fabric by twisting it through 90o stretching alternately compressing the tube at the same time. After completion of the test the fabric is tested for resistance to penetration by water.

FAQ's of Crumpleflex Tester:
Q: How does the Crumpleflex Tester evaluate material durability?
A: The tester subjects specimens of leather or coated fabrics to repeated bending cycles using adjustable clamps, simulating prolonged usage. Durability is assessed by observing changes in the material after a set number of flex cycles, up to 99,999, as displayed on the digital counter.
Q: What materials are suitable for testing in this equipment?
A: The Crumpleflex Tester is designed to test leather, artificial leather, coated fabrics, and technical textiles, making it ideal for industries focused on material performance and quality assurance.
Q: Where is the Crumpleflex Tester typically used?
A: This tester is widely utilized in industrial laboratories, manufacturing facilities, and quality control departments engaged in producing or evaluating leather and coated fabric goods, particularly within India and export-oriented businesses.
Q: What safety features are included with the tester?
A: The Crumpleflex Tester includes an emergency stop switch for immediate shutdown in case of malfunction or accident, ensuring operator safety during testing.
Q: What is the typical process for using the Crumpleflex Tester?
A: To perform a test, the operator cuts specimens using the provided template, mounts them securely in the adjustable clamps, sets the desired cycle count, and initiates the test. The machine automatically records cycles and stops as required.
Q: What are the benefits of using this tester for manufacturers and exporters?
A: By accurately measuring flex resistance, manufacturers can ensure their products meet international standards and customer expectations, thereby reducing returns, enhancing reputation, and supporting export requirements.
