The AFT1000/S is a versatile testing instrument used for peel strength testing, tensile testing, push and pull testing, puncture / piercing force, penetration testing, and measuring the strength of glass ampules. It is widely used in packaging, adhesive, film, textile, and pharmaceutical industries as well as scientific research institutions.
The AFT1000/S has a force capacity of 1000N (100 Kg) with an accuracy of greater than 0.5% of Full Scale and a least count of 0.1 N or better. Results are displayed in N, Kgf, or Lbf — selectable based on test requirements.
The AFT1000/S supports stepless speed regulation from 0 to 5000 mm/min, with an optional mm/Sec mode. The traveling length exceeds 400 mm, making it suitable for a wide variety of test sample lengths and configurations.
The AFT1000/S provides USB and Ethernet output for data saving and printing. Additionally, the Ethernet port allows the machine to be controlled remotely from a PC using VNC software on the same network — enabling seamless integration into laboratory data management workflows.
The AFT1000/S supports 180° peel test, 90° peel test (with a moving slider along the sample), and T peel test — each requiring the respective optional base clamp accessory. This flexibility allows it to comply with a wide range of ASTM peel and bond test standards.
The AFT1000/S complies with ASTM D3330, ASTM D1876, and tear standards including ASTM D1938. It also covers seal standards ASTM F88, ASTM F904, and bond standards ASTM 903, among many others — making it suitable for testing across packaging, film, adhesive, and material science applications.
Unlike standard peel testers, the AFT1000/S incorporates a PLC and Panasonic Servo motor and drive for precise, repeatable motion control. The touch screen interface, one-touch automatic operation, and PC remote control via Ethernet make it significantly more advanced and easier to integrate into modern quality control workflows.
The AFT1000/S measures 400 × 400 × 1080 mm (L × W × H) and weighs 75 Kg. It operates on 220/110 V, 50/60 Hz power supply, making it compatible with standard laboratory and industrial electrical systems worldwide.
