BDT Automatic Bag Drop Tester

BDT Automatic Bag Drop Tester – Latest Model

The BDT Automatic Bag Drop Tester is a highly accurate, motorized instrument designed for drop tests on HDPE/Polypropylene (PP) woven sacks used for packaging fertilizers. Its stainless-steel body prevents chemical deformation, and two adjustable, lockable flaps allow precise sack positioning for each test.

The adjustable rotating arm enables drop tests on all six orientations of the sack — face side, back side, left edge, right edge, bottom edge, and top edge. Each sack is dropped from a height of 1.8 metres to simulate real-world performance during repeated handling, loading, unloading, and stacking operations.

The motorized platform is uplifted via gear and motor mechanism with a 1.0mm least count. Drop height is adjustable from 200mm to 2000mm, and both straight and angular drop tests can be performed on a single instrument. Built on a strong MS or SS304 base plate, the BDT complies with BIS 9755: 2021.
