LSW/S Liquid Strike Through Time & Wetback Tester
The LSW/S Liquid Strike Through Time & Wetback Tester automatically measures liquid-strike-through time and the rewet properties of nonwoven and coverstock materials. It conforms to EDANA/INDA standards WSP 70.3, equivalent to ERT 150.5 (02) and ISO 9073-8.
Both liquid strike-through and coverstock wetback tests can be performed on a single instrument. The automatic timing device and automatic SBW placement eliminate human interference from the measurement, ensuring consistent and reproducible results.
The instrument uses a 50ml burette with a hopper streaming approximately 25ml in 3.5±0.25 seconds. Specimen and stand plate dimensions are 125×125mm, with a simulated baby weight of 4000±20g. Timer accuracy is 0.01s and balance accuracy is 0.001g. Power: 220/110V 50/60Hz; weight: 45 kg; dimensions: 500×350×800mm.
