ROE/ Rapid Oil Extraction Apparatus

The ROE Rapid Oil Extraction Apparatus is used to determine the OPU%, oil or finish content of wool or synthetic samples by solvent percolation and evaporation. Results are obtained within 15 minutes, making it suitable for all natural and synthetic fibres, yarn, or fabric.

The ROE features 3 independent work stations, allowing simultaneous testing of up to 3 samples (2g each) with 20ml of extraction reagent per station. Temperature range extends from room temperature to 220°C with 300W heating power and adjustable extraction time of 20–230 minutes.

Compliant with WIRA Test Method NO5: 1989, the apparatus operates on 220/110V, 50/60Hz power, weighs 30 kg, and has dimensions of 475 × 360 × 660 mm (L×W×H). Supplied complete with pressing ring, evaporating dish, weights, compression bar, specimen tube, and hook.
