The RTM Rope Tension Meter is a ready-to-use digital instrument applicable across a wide range of industries including power, telecommunications, transportation, glass curtain wall decoration, cable way, construction, pleasure grounds, and tunnel construction.
Featuring a smart pulley design for quick installation on any cable or rope, the RTM is also widely used in fishing, research and teaching institutions, testing laboratories, and any application involving the tension measurement of ropes and steel wire ropes.
Available in four models — RTM-20, RTM-50, RTM-100, and RTM-200 — covering rope diameters from Φ6mm to Φ40mm. Features RS232 output, rechargeable battery (100V–240V charging), working temperature 5–35°C, weighs 7.0 kg, and has dimensions of 700 × 400 × 150 mm (L×W×H).

The RTM is applicable across power, telecommunications, transportation, glass curtain wall decoration, cable way, construction, pleasure grounds, tunnel construction, fishing, research and teaching institutions, and testing laboratories — any occasion involving rope or steel wire rope tension.
Across the four models, the RTM covers rope diameters from Φ6mm (RTM-20) up to Φ40mm (RTM-200), with 8 specific diameter positions per model. Each model is selected based on the rope diameter range required.
Four models are available: RTM-20 (Φ6–Φ18mm), RTM-50 (Φ12–Φ26mm), RTM-100 (Φ20–Φ34mm), and RTM-200 (Φ26–Φ40mm). Each model is suited to a different range of rope or steel wire rope diameters.
The RTM-20 and RTM-50 have a load division value of 0.01 KN for high-precision measurement of smaller ropes. The RTM-100 and RTM-200 have a load division value of 0.1 KN for larger rope and cable applications.
The RTM features an RS232 9-hole socket output connector, enabling digital data transfer to a PC or external recording system for data logging and analysis.
The RTM is powered by a rechargeable battery with a universal charging voltage of 100V–240V, making it suitable for both field and laboratory use worldwide. Mains power is 220V, 50Hz.
The RTM operates at working temperatures of 5°C–35°C and can be stored/transported at -10°C–60°C. Relative humidity should be 15%–80% RH. The working environment should be free of vibration focus and corrosive media.
The RTM weighs 7.0 kg and has dimensions of 700 × 400 × 150 mm (L×W×H), making it a manageable field instrument for on-site rope tension measurement.
